BLM supporter targeted by racist thugs
A BUSINESSWOMAN says she has been the victim of ‘racially motivated’ attacks ever since she attended a Black Lives Matter protest.
Charlotte Parker, 3 , had a rock thrown through her living room window and her car tyres slashed in the early hours on Saturday. ‘It was racially motivated,’ she said.
Ms Parker said she has been the victim of intimidation after the rally in Truro, Cornwall, on June 15.
‘I cannot really leave my house because I am worried about somebody chucking something awful in my face. I am just so paranoid,’ she said. ‘When I have gone out, I cannot really do it. I can’t go into shops. It has really taken a toll on me.’ She told the BBC she was subjected to ‘monkey chanting’ and abusive language at the march, which saw Devon and Cornwall Police make four arrests.
The force has installed a panic alarm at her home. Sgt Marc Sayers said: ‘This was a targeted attack.’
