CORONA KINDNESS

■ Thank you to Gina Pitsivoris, who brings me soup when I can’t eat due to my cancer and being stuck indoors. She’s been such a rock during the hardest battle of my life. Her and Jennifer are diamonds and my battle has lessened because of their love and support.

■ I’d like to say a huge thank you to the staff and customers of the Black Bull in Gateshead for making Saturday night feel safe and welcome. I look forward to seeing you all this weekend and for things to get back to some semblance of normality!

■ Living alone at 92 isn’t the most fun thing but when you have helpful neighbours like mine, you can smile every day. Especially when delivering the daily Metro is part of their kindness and support.
