Gruesome twosome urged to ‘rejoin human race’ after disgusting scenes
TWO tearaways were yesterday put under curfew after terrorising a town – with a magistrate telling them to ‘become part of the human race again’.
Charlie Beaumont and Jamie Leigh Perkins were previously banned from meeting in public because they had repeatedly caused trouble in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
But police came across them making a scene while drunk on vodka – and watched as the pair ended up rolling around in bushes when Beaumont grabbed her companion.
Prosecutor Catherine Allen said: ‘Both were shouting loudly and waving arms around. Beaumont was crying, shouting and swearing.’
She said Beaumont, 19, lashed out at a police officer and screamed: ‘You fat c**t – you’re a s**g. I’m going to headbutt you!’ She then spat towards two officers. Perkins, 20, was restrained after banging her head on a wall, grabbing an officer’s vest and spitting. ‘She was screaming and swearing and making threats and tried to bite officers,’ Ms Allen told Stockport magistrates.
The pair were arrested and checks showed both had long criminal records for violence.
Beaumont, of Cheadle Hulme, and Perkins, of Offerton, admitted being drunk and disorderly, assaulting police and breaching a criminal behaviour order. But they were spared jail as they are both working and have not been in trouble since the arrest in September last year.
They were told to stay home after dark for eight weeks and handed three-month suspended prison terms.
Magistrate Neil Brettell said they ‘must not behave like the disgusting humans you were’. He said they had to ‘prove you wish to become part of the human race again and not be from a sub-culture who go round dragging their knuckles over the pavement’.
