CORSET’S NOT RUDE

BGT AMANDA BRINGS UP THE BODICE TO REASSURE VIEWERS WHO COMPLAINED ABOUT HER ‘NIP SLIP’

- By ANDREI HARMSWORTH

AMANDA HOLDEN has joked that her nipples deserve a TV show of their own – but promised there will be no wardrobe malfunctions when she sings live on Britain’s Got Talent tomorrow night.

In an exclusive interview with Metro before the performance of a track from her new album, Songs From My Heart, she said she was bemused by the furore over the dress she wore last weekend.

Ofcom received 2 5 complaints that viewers could see her nipples.

But Amanda, 49, protested: ‘There is a whole committee of people who look at my outfits, and it passed the test.

‘It was an underwire corset so it dug in at those two points. We all thought it looked a bit nipply, but my nipples are tiny football studs and they are not near my cleavage. I was kind of insulted more than anything.’

Amanda, who calls her boobs ‘ the girls’, then made a crack about Piers Morgan’s ITV chat show.

‘The girls have just agreed to go on Piers’ Life Stories next year in their own right,’ she said.

well used to being the centre of attention, Amanda admitted she is quivering about performing on the BGT stage rather than being safely down among her fellow judges.

‘I am pooing my pants and I am wearing all white, so...’ Amanda said of singing her version of Not While I’m Around, from musical Sweeney Todd.

‘I am really nervous. I have woken up with anxiety every day.’

Revealing her album has Simon Cowell’s approval, she added: ‘I feel like a contestant on

BGT. I feel like someone has pressed their golden buzzer.’
