FACE MASKS? WHY ANAÏS JUST HAS TO ROLL WITH IT

NOEL’S GIRL WON’T RISK BEING CANCELLED

-

OEL GALLAGHER’S daughter Anaïs is keeping out of the face mask debate because she fears she might be ‘cancelled’.

Her dad, 53, caused controversy last month when he announced he refuses to wear a mask in public, adding: ‘There’s too many f***ing liberties being taken away from us. If I get the virus it’s on me.’

Anaïs, 20, said: ‘I get where he’s coming from but I’m less full-on than him. I’m generally less revolutionary than my dad. I’ve never not worn a mask.

‘I think my generation is quite lenient and that’s not necessarily a good thing. We do what we’re told a bit too much, we come from the era of fake news and Facebook telling us what the news is.

‘We are also hugely afraid of being cancelled. It’s very dangerous to stand up and be your own person in my generation. If you are going against the grain, you can be totally cut out.’

Her Rock ’N’ Roll Star dad is well known for throwing wild parties but Anaïs has rejected his lifestyle to become a farmer in the Dorset countryside.

Instead of schmoozing in London’s Primrose Hill like her Oasis rocker dad and socialite mum Meg Mathews, she is up at 6.30am feeding lambs on her boyfriend Julius Roberts’s organic farm near Lyme Regis.

‘My parents are famously party-ers and they love going out, and they are very social and

I’m completely the opposite,’ says the photography student, who helps take care of 17 goats, 15 sheep, several lambs, two dogs and chickens.

‘The rock’n’roll lifestyle was never my thing. I have rebelled in the opposite direction by deciding to live on a farm.’

The celebukid, modelling for Bluebella lingerie, says her parents feared there was something wrong with her as a teen because she didn’t go off the rails, preferring to spend her Saturday nights reading or watching TV. ‘I was never going to live up to them in terms of who could party hardest,’ she said, adding her mum ‘worried I was wasting my youth’.
