No household mixing indoors. Rule of six applies outdoors. Reduction in journeys recommende­d.

Tier Three (Very High)

No household mixing indoors or out. Pubs to remain open only if serving ‘substantia­l’ meals.

LOCKDOWN: (From Nov 5)

Non-essential retail closed. Socialisin­g restricted to social bubble or one other person in a public outdoor place. Funerals limited to 30 mourners. Pubs and restaurant­s closed except for preordered takeaways. Leisure facilities shut. Gyms, salons, hairdresse­rs shut. Working from home recommende­d. Travel discourage­d except for essential reasons. No travel for holidays. No overnight stays except for specified reasons. Only deathbed weddings allowed (limited to six people in total).

11pm curfew in pubs and restaurant­s (last orders at 10pm). Table service only. Work from home where possible. Rule of six applies indoors and out. Fifteengue­st limit on weddings, 30 for funerals. Event crowds of up to 1,000 indoors or 4,000 outdoors.

Pubs to open only if serving ‘substantia­l’ meals. Spectator sports allowed with social distancing. No household mixing indoors. Fifteengue­st limit on weddings, 30 for funerals. Event crowds of up to 1,000 indoors or 2,000 outdoors. Rule of six applies outside.

Tier Three

Pubs and restaurant­s closed except for pre-ordered takeaways. Outdoor amateur sport allowed. Non-essential retail open. Overnight stays banned except for specific reasons. Weddings can resume with 15 guests. Wedding receptions banned. Places of worship open but no household mixing.
