How do you like to watch TV at home?
I am TV-obsessed. I don’t understand people who say they never watch TV. I’ve got a cinema room in my house. It’s got a big Samsung TV and the loudest surround sound I’ve ever heard. If you go in there, you will see an amp the size of Mars. I can’t even turn it on because I actually get a fright every time a loud bang happens. When my boyfriend’s trying to turn it on I’m like, ‘Please turn it down, it’s too loud.’ I’ve got Sonos speakers everywhere as well, and I’ve got Sonos soundbars on every telly for the whole cinema experience. I’ve been watching Umbrella Academy in there in lockdown. And obviously I watched all of Selling Sunset on Netflix.
What are your most used apps on your phone?
I’ve got the iPhone 11 and I use an app called Nutracheck all the time, which is a bit like MyFitnessPal, but I think it’s better. I’d probably say my most frequently used apps in the last week have been Nutracheck, Shopify and Nando’s. You’ve got to love Nando’s.

You’re renovating your home. Have you invested in any new tech?
In my bedroom I’ve just had a projector fitted. It’s a 120in ViewSonic projector PX747-4K. It’s really high quality. Oh, and I’ve got security cameras coming out of my a***hole.
You had to hand in your phone when you were filming Geordie Shore. How did you find that?
If they took them off us now I probably would not like it at all but it’s been five years since
I was in Geordie Shore and back when we first went into the show, phones weren’t important. Instagram had just sta started, no one was re really bothered about s social media. None of us had businesses we needed to be on our phones for. I definitely couldn’t do that now.
You filmed your own TV show from home in lockdown. What was that like and what tech did you use?
I shot the show on a Sony a7S II and a Canon EOS 6D Mark II. It was fun because I got to do it with my boyfriend, who is a videographer. I’m very bossy with him and he doesn’t like that about us but he copes with it.
Have you ever had a tech-related fail while filming?
Through lockdown we filmed the MTV Games Live With Charlotte Crosby, which was a quiz I hosted live. There were so many things that went wrong. I used my Apple AirPods because I had to have a lot of cues from the director, because there were a lot of complicated graphics on the screen. One time, one fell out and I couldn’t find it so I couldn’t hear him. I didn’t know if I was in time with the graphics at all. It was all going wrong.
What’s your latest favourite fitness gadget?
I used to have a whole gym in my house but recently I’ve got this cool crosstrainer, the Bowflex MAX Trainer M5. It has all these programs you can do of 15- to 20-minute workouts and it really gets your heart pumping.
You’ve got more than seven million Instagram followers. What do you like most about the platform?
It’s a love story between me and social media. I love the fact that it’s a window into someone’s life. It’s interesting when I’m sat at home with a Chinese takeaway in my pyjamas and haven’t washed my hair for a week. People say that it’s not real life but I say, ‘Well, of course it isn’t.’ Putting up photos in frames in your house, you’re not going to put a photo of you in your scruffs and slippers, looking like a tramp, are you? You hang your best photos on your wall! It’s the same on Instagram. That’s just life.
