LONDON INTERNATIONAL MIME FESTIVAL
The festival celebrating physical and visual theatre and storytellers, is a scaled back online affair with talks and workshops galore, as well as five commissioned short films and streams of 28 productions from previous years – with acrobatic circus, choreographers, animators, and multimedia artists. It’s all available to tune into for free, including Peeping Tom’s Olivier-winning piece 32 rue Vandenbranden (below, Jan 22-24), and the film and video season begins today.

EDDIE IZZARD: A RUN FOR HOPE
The absolute legend that is Eddie Izzard is doing her bit to raise money for charities that ‘make humanity great’ with A Run for Hope, by running a marathon (on a treadmill) every single day of January. Followed by a standup show every night. So that’s 31 marathons and 31 stand-up gigs. As if that’s not enough, Eddie’s joined by guests for a natter while running the 26.2 miles.
