The only way is expecting! Baby joy for Lauren
FORMER TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has announced she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Charles Drury, three months after confirming their relationship.
Lauren, 34, revealed she is three months pregnant in her column for new! magazine yesterday, saying the baby is due in July.
It has been a whirlwind romance with Charles – whose former girlfriends include Katie Price, 42. Lauren moved him into her Essex home in late October, within weeks of their first meeting.
The star admitted the 23-yearold builder was initially sceptical when she told him her pregnancy test was positive.
Lauren added: ‘It’s exciting and we’re really happy. It’s difficult, but we’ve just got through it.’
Recalling the day she suspected she might be pregnant, Lauren explained: ‘I was in bed not well with a cold. We went and bought a test from a bargain shop and I did it – I couldn’t believe it! I rang him (Charles) and he was like, “You’re lying, you’re joking.”
‘He didn’t believe the test! I did a digital one as well and he walked around with it in his bag for about three days.’ A source told The Sun: ‘Charles has moved into her Essex home and they’re really loved up. ‘She’s head over heels for him – friends can’t believe how fast she’s fallen for him. Everyone’s hoping she’s finally found The One.’
Only last month Lauren said she wanted ‘marriage and family’ following years of disappointment. She was previously engaged to Towie co-star Mark Wright, who went on to marry Our Girl star Michelle Keegan. Lauren suffered a miscarriage in 2013, when she was with Jake McLean, her on-off boyfriend between 2012 and 2016.
