EXTRA-TIME BEING PLAYED, 4-4 AT 90MIN HARRY KANE scored a stunning diving header to take an incredible FA Cup fifth-round tie the distance at Goodison Park last night.

The England captain, on as a second-half substitute, got on the end of Heung-min Son’s wonderful cross eight minutes from time.

Jose Mourinho’s side had showed great resolve with Everton having led 3-1 and 4-3 during the tie.

It was Spurs who struck first with a third-minute Davinson Sanchez header but Everton – who had been grateful for some fine stops from goalkeeper Robin Olsen – scored three times in ten minutes towards the end of the half.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who later went off injured, was involved in all three. His fierce shot proved too hot

Richarliso­n produced another splendid finish to give Everton the lead again only for Kane’s header to force extra-time.

1 0 SHEFFIELD United made it through to the last eight of the FA Cup last night with a second-half penalty enough to see off Bristol City.

It was a tie of few clear-cut chances, with a first-half shot from Jayden Bogle bouncing off the top of the visitors’ crossbar.

The decisive moment came midway through the second half – Alfie Mawson deflected a shot from McGoldrick onto the crossbar with his arm and was sent off.

Billy Sharp made no mistake from the spot and the Blades march on.
