AND ANOTHER THING...
Why are you giving Rita Ora continued publicity (Metro, Thu)? She betrayed the NHS by breaching lockdown rules twice and is now on a jolly in Australia. We’re unable to see our families and are toeing the line – I don’t think you should be rubbing our noses in it in this way. John, Leeds
For someone who claims to value her privacy, Meghan Markle has chosen a limelight profession and a partner who is recognised worldwide. Isn’t something wrong with this picture? Or does she simply want to ensure that all publicity is sanctioned by her? It’s unlikely the media will take kindly to being told what they can and can’t publish. Andi Edan, via email
To Roy from Manchester, who says the fact so many people are travelling with suitcases suggests they can’t be on essential journeys (MetroTalk, Thu) I’m a key worker travelling in casual clothes with a suitcase. This is because it is the easiest way to transport my work from home to the office in Manchester on the days I need to go in. So please don’t jump to conclusions – this could be the case for a lot of people. Rachel, Wigan
I’m surprised you show support for mob rule by printing Amanda’s letter in praise of the Argentinian vigilantes who stripped naked and chased out of town the teens who stole a girl’s rucksack (MetroTalk, Thu). The mob would have used extreme violence. Shame on you. Peter, London
Holly’s partner isn’t so unusual in watching the second half of a movie first (MetroTalk Tue). Spoiler alert: everyone who’s seen Christopher Nolan’s Tenet is in that club! Fin, Manchester
