Spiteful stalker posted a pig’s head to her ex

- by HENRY VAUGHAN

A STALKER posted a pig’s head to her former boyfriend and his partner in a ‘gratuitous act of spite’, a court heard.

Tia McBean, 23, bombarded Oralton Robinson with hundreds of phone calls and abusive texts, and ordered dozens of pizzas to be delivered to his home.

The pig’s head was dispatched to a restaurant he ran with his partner.

Matthew Dalton, prosecuting, said: ‘At about 8.50am he was working at the restaurant as a delivery was made. He thought it was from a catering firm.’

Mr Robinson said: ‘I opened it in a rush, it was a pig’s head. I didn’t expect this at all. I wouldn’t order any meat like that, we only sell halal meat.’

A vegan employee said in a statement: ‘As soon as I saw it I felt sick. It made me feel nauseous and I did throw up.’ McBean also falsely claimed on Facebook that she saw a man at the restaurant carry out a sex act in a pot. She had become pregnant after a brief fling with Mr Robinson before he returned to the partner, mother of his child, Woolwich crown court heard. McBean admitted breaking a restraining order, criminal damage, stalking and sending malicious communications. Judge Ruth Downing said her campaign was ‘getting out of hand’, adding: ‘You sent a package that revealed a pig’s head inside, which was a horrible and very gratuitous act of spite.’ McBean, of New Cross, south-east London, got 15 months’ jail but because she had been held in custody she will be released on licence next month. James Hasslacher, defending, said: ‘This was a toxic relationship that descended into this quite irrational behaviour.’
