MOCKING ORLANDO? IT’S A NO-BRAINER

STAR’S OWN FAMILY SNIGGER AT ‘OCTANE OIL’

- GETTY

VEN Orlando Bloom’s family have been ribbing him about a hilariously pretentious interview in which he described his LA breakfast of brain octane oil and collagen. The Pirates Of The Caribbean star’s chat with The Sunday Times went viral, especially after he called himself a vegetarian who loves a piece of meat.

Attempting to defend his prissy comments, Orlando told Virgin Radio’s brekky show yesterday: ‘Don’t start! I’ve been the running joke of just about everybody between my friend groups and families when you read that out loud!’

He only half-heartedly defended himself, saying: ‘I was asked what my porridge recipe was – by the way, vanilla in your porridge will take it to the next level. Trust me.’

During his original interview, the 44-yearold Canterbury-born star said: ‘I like to earn my breakfast, so I’ll just have some green powders that I mix with brain octane oil, a collagen powder for my hair and nails, and some protein. It’s all quite LA, really. Then I’ll go for a hike while I listen to some Nirvana or Stone Temple Pilots.’

Orlando also revealed he starts the day by doing 20 minutes of Buddhist chanting with baby Daisy Dove, his daughter with Katy Perry, 36.

And as for vegetarianism, he added:

‘I’m 90 per cent plant-based, so I’ll only eat a really good piece of red meat maybe once a month. I sometimes look at a cow and think, that’s the most beautiful thing ever.’

And Orlando told Virgin that brain octane oil is ‘just two teaspoons of sugar.

Don’t tell anyone’.
