BREAK out the black armbands folks, glamour superstar Sophie Howard is RETIRING!

The Southport babe won over an army of fans with her glorious 32F boobs but she’s decided to dump her sexy undies to concentrate on getting her degree at Liverpool University.

Writing on her Twitter account Sophie, 28, said: “So, news of the day... I’m hanging up that glittery thong – no more modelling for me. Thank you all, sincerely, for supporting me for the past years, it’s been ace and I’ve met some awesome people. Thank you again, and the chebs say they’ll miss the freedom ;) x “For all asking, I’m nearly in my third year of uni – so my time will be filled with essays and other such

things! X”

The news caused a Twitter meltdown with fellow models all sad to see the babe officially putting her boobs away.

Lucy Pinder said: “My chebs will miss your amazing chebs also! Hopefully won’t be the last time we’ll all see each other, lots of love xx”

And Peta Todd, who announced her retirement last year added: “So the bangers are now reclusive? Our boobs can enjoy retired life, Countdown etc.”

Sophie, 28, first got her enormous knockers out in public for lucky punters in a Liverpool lapdancing bar ten years ago.

Since then she has gone on to be one of the most famous faces – and bodies – in the business, but she’s putting it all behind her to finish her degree in mental health nursing.
