THE FUTURE IS GOALDEN – ZAMORA

-

BOBBY ZAMORA remains confident about climbing the table, despite his dream start for QPR turning into a nightmare.

The 31-year-old scored 16 minutes into his debut at the weekend but Wolves took advantage of Djibril Cisse’s red card at Loftus Road.

Zamora saw enough before Cisse’s dismissal to encourage him for the rest of the season – and next up for Mark Hughes’ men is Blackburn on Saturday at Ewood Park.

England striker Zamora said: “It was a decent first-half display by us, going forward as well as at the back.

“I’m looking forward to the next game now.

“Every game we play between now and the end of the season is massive.

“It was nice to score – now I’m hoping I can add a few more.”
