Fab date with FA over Terry public support

Midweek Sport - - SPORT -

FABIO CAPELLO faces a showdown with his FA bosses over the next 48 hours.

The England coach will be forced to explain his decision to go public with his criticism of the decision to ditch John Terry as England captain.

And FA chiefs must decide whether the Italian has been in breach of his £6milliona-year contract.

If they decide he has, Capello could be sacked and attention will turn towards drafting in a replacement to lead England into Euro 2012.

Capello didn’t help himself by opting to speak to Italian television when he broke his silence on Terry’s sacking.

And his claims that the Chelsea defender should not have been demoted – and that Terry would always be skipper in his eyes – went down badly at Wembley.

SHOWDOWN: Capello

COMMITTED: Balotelli
