Doc taped by patient as he had sex with her in surgery

A MARRIED family doctor unmasked as a love rat after he was secretly recorded having sex with his mistress faces being struck off.

GP Simon Robinson, 44, was found guilty by a disciplinary panel of having a 16-month affair with the patient despite his denials.

The father-of-two had regular romps with the woman during “triple and quadruple appointments’’ at his surgery in Oswestry, Shropshire, although they only went as far as oral sex.

Robinson ( above) would call her his ‘’Number One Patient’’ and he signed greetings cards for her, while she kept a secret diary of their illicit liaisons.

The GP was reported after the woman, in her 40s, used her mobile phone to make two lengthy tape recordings of them having sexual encounters at the surgery and also at her home.

During one clip the woman, who hid the phone in her handbag, was heard to say, “I really enjoyed it” and he responds, “I did as well’’.

At the General Medical Council in Manchester, Robinsons’ claims the tapes had been tampered with were rejected.

They ruled that his fitness to practice was impaired. The case was adjourned till Tuesday to decide punishment.
