Helen would rather be a kinky nurse

CALL The Midwife star Helen George wishes she could swap her vintage overalls – for an ANN SUMMERS nurse’s outfit!

Helen, 29, admitted that she’d love to slip into something sexier than the 1950s bras and suspenders she wears on set.

She said she’d much prefer the uniforms seen on late night TV to the modest costumes seen in the period drama.

The blonde beauty ( above) said: “We wear the proper pointy bras and suspenders, which starts out as fun but becomes tiresome.

“The uniforms aren’t exactly sexy either, are they? It’d be different if we all wore Ann Summers midwives outfits – it’d be like Late Night Midwives Gone Wild.

“But no, they were NHS, so how sexy can you be?”

Gorgeous Helen plays flirty midwife Trixie Franklin in the post-war drama, opposite Jessica Raine and comedienne Miranda Hart.
