ONE in five Brits now thinks spectacles make people look more attractive, according to new research.
For decades glasses have been associated with intelligence – but, until now, they’ve never been regarded as very flattering.
Now it seems speccy celebs including actress Keira Knightley ( and teen heartthrob Justin Bieber have changed attitudes towards them.
Many kids are following in their footsteps and wearing glasses – even if they don’t need to.
A study, from the College of Optometrists, reveals that 20 per cent of Brits think glasses make the wearer more attractive and 43 per cent think they make people look more intelligent. Rick Redfern, Glasgow My boobs at the moment – they change size all the time and I can’ t keep up with them.
