TWO thugs left a hotel worker with a fractured jaw after they beat him up – for his BEER.

Paul Ware had just called in at a corner shop when he was attacked for his drink and wallet.

Thomas Lough and Ryan Nolan had been hanging around the store in North Shields, North Tyneside when they saw Mr Ware leave with eight cans of lager.

Lough attacked him with kicks and punches to the head and body then grabbed his beer.

The bloodied victim fled in fear but Lough chased after him, dragging him to the ground and booting him as he lay prone.

Mr Ware suffered cuts and bruising as well as a triple fracture to his jaw.

At Newcastle Crown Court Lough, 18, was jailed for six years and Nolan, 19, for three after they admitted robbery.
