Thugs break man’s jaw to nick his beer

TWO thugs left a ho­tel worker with a frac­tured jaw af­ter they beat him up – for his BEER.

Paul Ware had just called in at a corner shop when he was at­tacked for his drink and wal­let.

Thomas Lough and Ryan Nolan had been hang­ing around the store in North Shields, North Ty­ne­side when they saw Mr Ware leave with eight cans of lager.

Lough at­tacked him with kicks and punches to the head and body then grabbed his beer.

The blood­ied vic­tim fled in fear but Lough chased af­ter him, drag­ging him to the ground and boot­ing him as he lay prone.

Mr Ware suf­fered cuts and bruis­ing as well as a triple frac­ture to his jaw.

At New­cas­tle Crown Court Lough, 18, was jailed for six years and Nolan, 19, for three af­ter they ad­mit­ted rob­bery.
