Carer’s £100k theft from OAP

A GRAN who stole more than £100,000 from the 83-year-old bedridden woman she cared for has been jailed for five years.

Truro Crown Court heard the victim had trusted Debra Adams, 46, with her bank account details and debit card. Adams used the money to buy luxuries for her family.

Adams, of St Columb, Cornwall, admitted 14 counts of theft and fraud.
