Miller time for Boro

TONY MOWBRAY wants Ishmael Miller to power up Middlesbrough’s promotion bid.

Mowbray is ready to step up his attempts to take the Forest striker on loan this week.

Miller was a key player under Mowbray at West Brom but has struggled at the City Ground this season.

The 24-year-old was signed by former Forest boss Steve Mcclaren and is the club’s highest earner on £17,000 a week.

But Boro chief Mowbray is keen to offer him an escape route on Teesside and will make a bid to sign him before the weekend.
