Crock Kev eyeing up City return

-

KEVIN DAVIES hopes to give Bolton a major injury boost by returning to action at Manchester City this weekend.

Davies, 34, has been out for the last two games with a knee problem he picked up in the 2-1 defeat to Wigan.

He has only bagged two league goals all season and has had spells out of Owen Coyle’s side.

But his availability would be a significant bonus for Coyle for the trip to the league leaders.

Davies said: “I haven’t been injured for a while but it isn’t a major one. Hopefully, I’ll be back for City next weekend.

“The mood around the place is still great. When we’ve been in trouble before, that has been what has got us out of it.

“It’s looking like three from five to go down from the Premier League at the moment, so we need to start making sure we pick up points.”
