TIGHT-FISTED rugby star Gavin Henson says he never tips at restaurants if he goes there a lot.

The Cardiff Blues player says he doesn’t need to leave the staff a tip because his custom alone is enough reward!

Gavin, star of recent Channel 5 series The Bachelor, admitted: “I do tip, but if I go to the same chain restaurant I don’t tip because I’m such a regular customer and usually they don’t expect me to.

“They just appreciated I’m there so often.

“Although I always give a tip when I’m in a taxi.”

The 30-year-old has also admitted he worries that his money will run-out in the future – despite being worth an estimated £3m.

He said: “I’ve learnt that you should always respect money, even when you’re feeling flush.

“So many of my mates have wasted money and then, when they’ve not got much left, they regret it.

“I’m much more cautious.

“They might have the right idea though – they don’t think about tomorrow, they just live for the moment rather than worrying.”
