56 days’ jail for Fab ‘troll’

-

A TWITTER “troll” has been jailed for 56 days for posting sick comments about tragic soccer star Fabrice Muamba.

Student Liam Stacey, 21, wrote racist and offensive tweets about the stricken Bolton Wanderers player just minutes after his heart attack.

He was arrested and spent a night in police custody after he was reported by other users on the social network – including Talksport pundit Stan Collymore.

When interviewed by police, Stacey said he was drunk after drinking since lunchtime while watching Wales and France play rugby.

He pleaded guilty to racially- aggravated harassment and disorder at Swansea magistrates.

The judge called the Swansea Uni student’s tweets “vile.”
