CHANNEL 4 has scrapped plans to show footage of a blind man groping a nude life model.

The stunt, for a comedy prank show, caused outrage at at Leigh campus of Southend Adult Community College, Essex.

Cops were called to the art class after students complained.

The filming was for a new show, produced by Zeitgeist Television, called

Nick Caley, Channel 4 spokesman, said: “

is a comedy prank show written by and starring disabled performers, pranking able bodied members of the public.

“During the filming of a prank last week involving a blind man and an actress playing a life model – both of whom were in on the joke – some of the students failed to see the funny side so won’t be broadcasting the footage.”
