Street’s Sean on spot over hotpot secret

-

CORRIE barman Sean Tully will be left gobsmacked next week when he finds out Betty has left him the top secret recipe for her legendary HOTPOT in her will.

Soap favourite Sean, played by Antony Cotton ( above), 36, will find himself speechless when he discovers Betty has entrusted him with her most precious possession.

But as well as being a great honour, Sean will be given the hard task of following Betty’s handwritten notes in a bid to re-create the signature dish.

Actress Betty Driver – who played Betty for 42 years on the ITV1 soap – died in October at the age of 91, and bosses have waited until now to film her character’s funeral.

When her on-screen son Gordon (Bill Kenwright) returns to tell the Weatherfield residents Betty’s died he will hand Sean a letter containing the recipe so her dish can live on.

A source said: “It will be a very emotional occasion. Betty’s hotpot is a national institution.” SEXY singer Pixie Lott showed off a lot more than she planned when she flashed her knickers at a showbiz bash.

The 21-year-old chart-topper looked hot when she headed out to a film premiere in London wearing a flowery dress.

But while she looked demure on the red carpet, she wasn’t looking so ladylike when she climbed into a cab and flashed her kecks.

The songtress – who had a Number One hit with the single Mama Do – won the Hottest Female award at the Virgin Media Music Awards last year – and it’s easy to see why!
