Sword stab thug jailed

-

A TEENAGE thug who chased a man through the streets before stabbing him with a 3ft-long sword for ‘looking at him the wrong way’ has been jailed for 13 years.

Juliean Ballantyne cycled after his victim – who police asked not to be named for fear of revenge attacks – after confronting him as he walked past his 15-strong gang in Finsbury, north London.

Blackfriars Crown Court heard last week how the 19-year-old shouted ‘What are you looking at?’ at the 23-year-old.

The victim ran into the block of flats he lived in nearby, but on the stairs he slipped and was confronted by Ballantyne and his pal who taunted him before stabbing him in his chest and side.

Ballantyne pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.
