CABAYE KEEN TO HANDEL A NEW EURO ADVENTURE

-

CULTURE vulture Yohan Cabaye could “Handel” a Champions League tilt with Newcastle.

Toon are fighting for a return to European football’s top table for the first time in NINE years after five straight wins put them level with Spurs in fourth.

Cabaye tasted Champions League football with Lille before his £4.5million summer move to the Geordies.

The classical musicloving midfielder would relish another chance to run out to the Champions League theme tune –

by German composer Georg Frideric Handel.

“Hearing that music, it’s a great feeling,” said Cabaye.

“I can’t imagine just how good it’d be to hear that music at our stadium with our fans.”
