Pensioner’s cam for girls in shower, court told
A PENSIONER rigged up a hidden camera in his bathroom to film two 16-year-old visitors as they took showers, a court heard.
Victor Morgan, 71, claims he set up the camcorder because he was worried about the two girls stealing his soap, Exeter Crown Court was told.
He recorded a 13-minute clip which started with an image of his arm putting the camera in place.
Morgan, of Paignton, Devion, denies two counts of voyeurism.
Prosecuting, Richard Crabb said Morgan filmed the girls, both 16 at the time, when they were staying at his house before going to a Christmas party in December 2010.
He said: “There is no doubt the girls did not consent to being filmed or that they had been doing a private act in a locked bathroom.
“If he was interested in toiletries, why not film the toiletries?
“Why film the shower and keep it?
“You can be sure there was one thing on his mind when he made and viewed that movie, and it wasn’t soap.”
The trial continues.
