ALLARDYCE IS CHASING SOME SILVA
WEST HAM have been given the green light to up their bid for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva.
Lisbon have already rejected a £1million bid from Sam Allardyce.
But Silva has turned down a new contract and the Portuguese outfit have decided it’s time to cash in.
An offer of around £2m could land the 23-yearold, who is also wanted by Blackburn.
The player’s agent Jim Michel Gabriel confirmed: “The player will not extend his contract with Sporting.”
The Hammers are currently in Portugal preparing for a Friday friendly with Braga.
Allardyce’s side have also been eyeing teenage striker Paco Alcacer.
But now the 18-year-old has revealed he does not want to leave Valencia.
