ROVERS RHODES CLOSED
BLACKBURN have had a bid turned down for Huddersfield hotshot Jordan Rhodes.
Rovers offered a deal worth up to £6million but the Terriers are not willing to let their goal machine go that easily.
Rhodes, 22, netted 37 times last season and Huddersfield have decided they want to build their squad up to compete in the Championship after promotion.
It is also believed that the Yorkshire club were furious that Rovers boss Steve Kean went public with their bid.
Blackburn are not believed to be interested in upping their offer – and will look to other targets as they try to replace the injured Leon Best who is out for six months.
Kean has moved closer to a deal for Galatasaray striker Colin Kazim-Richards.
