Monday night’s episode – which featured an irate Jasmine Lennard reducing model Danica Thrall to tears following a blazing row – was watched by a whopping TWO MILLION fans.

And it blitzed Channel 5’s regular Big Brother season, which ended earlier this month, after that show slumped to less than 500,000 viewers.

Big Brother host Brian Dowling previously tipped the Celebrity series to be a ratings winner, saying that viewers would be awaiting the drama.

He said: “I get excited about the normal one because I was in the House, but when it comes to the celebrity one there’s an extra hype around it. Ratings double because people love celebrities.”
