Britain’s biggest teen thief caged
BRITAIN’S most prolific teenage thief, who has committed 521 burglaries and thefts since the age of 12, has been jailed.
Adam Crampton, 19, said he wanted to “wipe the slate clean” when he was previously jailed in March for four years, after admitting 184 offences including burglary and thefts from cars.
Crampton, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to a further three counts of burglary of a dwelling in October and asked for another 335 offences to be taken into consideration.
He asked that 278 burglaries of dwellings and 60 offences of taking a motor vehicle also be taken into account when he was sentenced to five years in jail, at Leicester Crown Court.
