MIRTH Oz woman’s night job is a real hoot!
A SLEEP-STARVED Aussie is offering £25 an hour for a worker to dress up as an OWL and watch over her while she sleeps.
The woman posted an application for a ‘night time watcher’ on Australian Gumtree, stressing the job “is not a joke”.
Susan, who lives in Collingwood, Victoria, is looking for someone to “sit in my room at night and watch over me as I sleep” – as she would find it comforting.
She adds: “I’d also like it if you were to wear a small owl costume. I have always found great comfort in the idea that owls are the natural lookouts of our world.
“I’d be prepared to pay you up to £25 if you were to wear the costume and maybe £22 if you don’t want the costume but will stick a feather or two to your forehead.”
