The actress, 51, was joined by a stellar cast in the film, including Hugh Grant and Liz Hurley – who also went topless.
A Street insider said: “Lizzy’s latest role in Corrie couldn’t be more different, as she’s more likely to give residents a tongue-lashing than a good seeing to.”
As DS Kline she gives characters a grilling about the whereabouts of Tyrone, played by Alan Halsall, 30, and his girlfriend Fiz Stape, played by 28-year-old Jennie McAlpine.
Tyrone snatched baby girl Ruby after evil ex Kirsty Soames (Natalie Gumede) accused him of being a wife beater – even though it is her who has been beating him for months.
In tonight’s episode Tyrone is arrested for child abduction when a distraught Fiz shops him to the cops.
