SUPERMODEL STUNNAS
Cara Delevingne may be taking the fashion world by storm – but she’s only the latest in a long line of...
SHE’S been on the modelling circuit less than a year but Cara Delevingne is already being touted as the new Kate Moss.
The 20-year-old was the darling of this month’s London Fashion Week as she staked her claim to becoming the most successful supermodel of them ALL.
Some industry experts reckon she could easily go on to earn over £100m – and even more than that if she makes it in the movies, too.
Burberry, Topshop Unique, Peter Pilotto and Issa London all hired the pixie-like cutie to strut her stuff at their shows last week, and she delighted photographers and enchanted critics.
Incredible
But despite her popularity the London-born lass finds it hard being compared to Croydon girl Kate Moss.
Cara– granddaughter of Sir Jocelyn Stevens, the founder of the 60s pirate radio station, Radio Caroline – said: “I just don’t think I’m at all like her, no-one can ever be her. She’s incredible, she’s a supermodel.
“I am very lucky to be where I am now but I want to do other things as well – even being mentioned in the same sentence as her is amazing, it’s just so weird.”
Fashion insiders say Cara could “easily” earn more than the likes of Kate Moss – with £45m in the bank – and Naomi Campbell, with £29m.
One said: “That is said with absolutely with no disrespect to Kate and Naomi, but they are from a different age.
“The wages are even bigger for top models now than in Kate and Naomi’s day, and they were the pacesetters that put models’ money into the stratosphere in the first place.
“Trust me, that lady will be sh*tting the equivalent of golden eggs! £100m? Easily. Easily!”
