It’s beaver Espana for Brit baby boomers!

A FIFTH of Brit mums get pregnant on their holidays – with Spain the No.1 “conception hotspot”.

“Staycation” fans who enjoy a break in Britain come a close second with 15 per cent conceiving in the UK.

France is third with 12% followed by Italy (9%) and Portugal (7%).

Researchers also found that celebrity conceptions influence holidaymakers – with 5% saying they were inspired to travel to Singapore after rumours Kate Middleton’s baby was conceived there.

Other stars who have affected Brit parents’ travel choices include Victoria Beckham for Brooklyn in New York, Kim Kardashian for Rome and Beyonce for Paris.

Surprisingly, men were more inspired to holiday in a celebrity conception destination than their partners.

The study of 2,000 people, by Hotels.com, also noted: “Celebrity conceptions are influential for some Brits when looking to book their next holiday.

“Who knows where the next hotspot will be?

“We can see which destinations bring out our amorous side – especially in men – resulting in a holiday memory that will last a lifetime.”
