Clarke curbs a Yac attack

ANDERLECHT want to sign West Brom midfielder Claudio Yacob.

The Argentine was one of the driving forces in the Baggies’ midfield last term, but boss Steve Clarke would need a huge offer to consider selling the 25-year-old.

The former Liverpool assistant gaffer has signed defender Goran Popov on loan from Dynamo Kiev for another season, subject to international clearance.

The 28-year-old Macedonia star had a similar deal last season.

Clarke said: “It was always our intention to get Goran back this summer.”
