VALLEYS STAR ‘SLAMMED CAR DOOR ON LOVER’S HEAD’

A STAR of MTV’s slammed a car door on his girlfriend’s head, a court heard.

Leeroy Reed – who has been mentored by busty glamour model Anna Kelle – allegedly attacked his partner after an argument.

Reality TV star Reed, 22, is accused of shutting the door of his BMW on victim Rebecca Jones’s head.

A court heard how the pair’s one-year-old son was in the car when the “attack” took place. Reed – whose debut rap album recently reached the top 40 chart – denies assault and claims he was acting in self defence.

Prosecutor Helen Randall said: “He pulled the door, slamming it on the complainant’s head, causing pain before the complainant started to cry.”

The court heard that the alleged attack took place outside the victim’s home in Bridgend, near Cardiff, was witnessed by the victim’s sister Gemma Jones.

She told Bridgend Magistrates how the couple had been arguing in the BMW before both got out and continued their dispute in the street.

The court heard how Leeroy climbed back into the vehicle before closing the door on his girlfriend’s head as she leant in to speak to him.

Ms Jones said: “The car pulled up and Leeroy appeared agitated and tense, there was a verbal altercation, swearing, it was heated.

“Leeroy then shoved Rebecca out of the way and then threw the baby’s car seat on to the road. He then came back to the front of the car to the driver’s side, shouting. He was then sitting in the driver’s seat and Rebecca was by the passenger side of the door.

“I saw Rebecca put her head inside the car while standing and Leeroy turned and shut the door on her head in an aggressive manner. “He turned and pulled the door. The car door hit her and it caught her on her upper forehead near her temples. ”

Leeroy, of Bridgend, denies assault and the couple have now split up.

Mel Butler, defending, said: “Rebecca was drunk and aggressive she was striking blows, kicking, tearing at the door.” The Valleys is a reality television series based in Cardiff and broadcast on MTV.

It follows youngsters from the South Wales Valleys as they move to Cardiff to live out their dreams with the help from their new bosses Anna Kelle and Jordan.
