FAMILY COP ‘PUT PENIS IN VICTIM’S HAND’

- By RACHEL SPENCER

A WOMAN told a court how a police officer grabbed her hand and put it on his erect penis.

Det Con Jeffrey Davies, 42, is accused of sexually assaulting and exposing himself to women while acting as their family liaison officer.

Swansea Crown Court heard Davies used his position to “achieve what he wanted sexually” while looking after battered wives.

One of his alleged victims told police: “He interviewed me in the police station about my ex-partner and when he finished he came on to me.

“As I was leaving he shoved me against the wall and grabbed my hand and made me touch his privates.

“His penis was hard and his hand was on my hand and he kept it there for what seemed like minutes.”

The court heard Davies later visited the 35-year-old at her home asking for sex.

She told police: “He phoned a couple of weeks later to say he was coming up and I told him I was babysitting.

“He said I should take the kids to bed and he would f*** me in the porch.

“I locked the doors, turned off the lights and took the kids up to bed and lay there until he stopped knocking on the door and went away.”

The court heard Davies was dealing with another victim of domestic abuse when he suggested they went for a drive.

Davies is said to have “made a detour” to a lane where he touched the woman in a sexual way by stroking her leg.

Burglary

He is also alleged to have exposed himself to a woman while investigating a burglary at her home. The three alleged offences happened in 2010 and 2011 while Davies was a South Wales Police officer.

Davies, from Merthyr Tydfil, denies two charges of sexual assault and one of exposing himself.

The trial continues.
