Only room for 3 Doctors in the Tardis

MATT Smith has revealed there will be no other Doctors apart from himself, David Tennant and the mysterious John Hurt in the show’s 50th anniversary episode

It had been rumoured there may be guest appearances from Tom Baker and Peter Davison from the classic Doctor Who era of the show.

But Smith who is leaving after filming this year’s Christmas special denied that.

He said: “No, it’s me John and David – the 50th anniversary is a celebration of more than my Doctor.

“It’s about the character – not just number 11.”

He also said he wouldn’t mind a woman succeeding him in the title role.

“I don’t see why not – I just want to see the best actor in the role – man, woman – or otter.”
