Tangled up in tunes

Gone are the days where you spent longer untangling the buggers than listening to music.

And when you easily pull them out your pocket, with not a tangle in sight, you’ll notice the Sol Republic earphones are very bass-heavy.

Because of that, true “wub-wub” seekers out there will have a massive cheesy grin on their face as their brains turn to liquid from intense vibration.

Although the idea of Skrillex’s brain melting may be good news to some, I do have to point out that these earpieces will NOT, in fact, turn your grey matter into a Slush Puppy. What they will do, though, is give you a good all-round listening experience which won’t distort, no matter how loud they get.

They work well, they don’t tangle and, if you ask me, they look pretty spectacular too.

It’s a more understated look that they’ve gone for, but I appreciate that. Some people don’t want cumbersome chunks of metal balanced on their heads. Some of us want to be able to fit through doors!

These are a really good set of earphones which is more impressive given the price. You’d expect to pay quite a bit more for this level of sound quality.
