Crack about Jess’s bum shows some of us still have a sense of humour

THE fuss over Colin Murray’s cheeky gag about Jessica EnnisHill’s bum shows how the lunatics have taken over the asylum.

An innocent, throwaway remark that we guess even Jess herself might have had a chuckle at is pounced upon by the hairy armpit brigade and suddenly the whole world has to march to their tune.

What grey, humourless people these whingers are.

Good on Colin Murray. His remarks weren’t sexist, offensive, rude or disrespectful. They were funny. And cheeky. And they showed we live in a world where people can have a laugh and dare to be different.

Sadly, the grey brigade want everyone to be dull and lifeless.

We’ve had to bite our lips a bit in recent days because having fun and appreciating beautiful women has been the subject of a vitriolic, ill-judged, ill-informed hate campaign by a tiny minority of noisy individuals.

And although we don’t like it one bit, we’ve chosen to let their argument blow itself out.

Understandably, we love seeing sexy girls being sexy.

So let’s put it on record – we think Jessica Ennis-Hill’s bum is magnificent. As is the rest of her finely-tuned body.

She’s pretty, sexy and we dearly, dearly wish she’d agree to do a topless shoot for us. There. We said it.
