But it’s much more fun to have a look at Minnie’s family album – as we discover these old snaps of her stripping starkers!

Grosse Pointe Blank babe Minnie, 43, was keen to take part in the BBC1 telly show to find out more about her late dad Ronnie.

She already knew that he’d lived a double life with another family, and that Minnie’s mother Gaynor was actually Ronnie’s MISTRESS.

But Minnie is also astounded to learn that her dad was a World War II hero once awarded a medal for bravery for his part in the battle of Heligoland Bight in 1939.

Meanwhile, we were even more surprised to learn that Minnie once aired her mimsy in 1993 TV series and bared her boobs in 1995 movie LOUIS WALSH has revealed that he is to bow out of the after the next series.

“I’ve been judging X Factor for 10 years, so I’ve done it all.”

He added: “It was never in my plan to be on TV but Simon Cowell put me there.

“I’m very grateful to him, but I need my life back!”

Success

Louis, who helped steer Westlife and Boyzone to success, said he wanted to focus on managing bands.

“I’m going to be managing Shane Filan from Westlife and I’m putting together a new boyband”, he said.

Jones will play a nurse in the show, called alongside stars including Oona Chaplin, Hermione Norris and Kerry Fox.

Phelps, who has written the six-part series, said: “I am bouncing off the walls with excitement at having such an extraordinary talented cast.”

Jones said: “This is my first period drama and I am so excited at the prospect of ilming a First World War series set on a frontline hospital.

“It’s an important period in history, not just because of the war but because it was a transitional period for women, liberated in some respect but still shackled by the conventions and hierarchies of the past.

“Sarah Phelps really gets to the beating heart of a story and gives very strong images and weight to her characters.

“For my role as Joan she has created a nurse with a very independent and modern outlook who is much more interested in her patients than protocol.

“I am really looking forward to getting started.”
