Sara’s roulette with off grub

RADIO One DJ Sara Cox has admitted playing ‘food roulette’ with out of date food .

The 38-year-old ( said she hated wasting grub and that she diced with getting a dodgy tummy by scoffing out of date food.

The mum-of-three said: “I often like to do what I call extreme eating – pushing the limit of the best before date, also known as Grub Roulette.

“The object of the game is to eat supposedly off food without causing diarrhoea/death.

“My hummus record is 10 days, cauliflower one month, and the black belt of Grub Roulette – crab: four days.”
