Di Resta: I’ll be a Force again

-

PAUL DI RESTA is pinning his faith on Force India to thrust him back into the points when Formula One returns from its summer break this weekend.

After finishing in the top 10 in seven of the opening eight grands prix, the races in Germany and Hungary were a nightmare for the team.

Neither Di Resta nor team-mate Adrian Sutil collected a point.

But Force India are traditionally strong at the next two races in Belgium and Italy, with Di Resta looking to Spa and Monza to pick up the pace again.

“I don’t want to let this championship get away from us,” said the Scot.

“We have missed some opportunities lately and that allowed our rivals to close in, but I have faith in the team.

“We need to get the car working like before.”
