Chicago to be a massive hit

-

TOMORROW is a bumper day for the sport of greyhound racing so that is what I’m concentrating on in the pursuit of finding you more winners.

Starting at Hove I think I’ve found us a few solid bets. I’m Napping Chicago in the 695m contest, I must confess I never expected him to be a star over extended distances and thought the Puppy Derby finalist was a genuine fourbend dog.

He stays though and connections must be very excited. The St Leger is not too far away and I’m sure Seamus Cahill will have one eye on that great prize, he can send out a message he’s capable of taking major honours with another fine performance here.

Droopys Bear is still a maiden but he’s too good to remain that for long. I expect him to score on his 7th attempt tonight for Dean Childs.

Rab and Liz McNair are giving a UK debut to Beaming Impact in the maiden sprint contest and I’m expecting it to be a winning one. He’s a very good Irish card and is a greyhound to follow now here in the UK NAP - T2 Chicago 21.40 NB - T4 Droopys Bear 20.50 TREBLE - T3 Beaming Impact 20.34 A fantastic meeting which features the Pin Point Recruitment Yorkshire St Leger worth £8,000 to the winner at 21.19.

I expect T4 Farley Rio to be on the podium collecting the cheque and magnificent trophy. He’s currently a 5/2 shot with all major firms.

Also on the card is the Pin Point Yorkshire Maiden Derby final worth £1,000 to the winner at 21.04.

It looks a competitive race but I’m inclined to think that a shock is possibly on the cards. I like the look of T5 Gymstar Jaguar at 4/1. Lough Messi was the headline ‘Let’s Get Messi’ in The Weekend Sport and he duly obliged at odds of 9/4.

That made it eight winning headlines on the bounce for Friday’s paper. Social media’s been buzzing but the best feeling is knowing you the readers are taking a few quid off the enemy ‘the bookmakers’ long may it continue!
