Daughter obsessed with decapitation videos gets 9 years
A 15-YEAR-OLD girl murdered her mother with a kitchen knife – after being groomed by ISIS on YouTube.
Lisa Borch stabbed her mum Tina Römer Holtegaard 20 times in the victim’s bedroom after becoming obsessed with sick decapitation videos posted of the terrorist group which implored her to kill.
A court in Denmark heard the teenager had spent hours repeatedly watching the final moments of Brit humanitarian workers David Haines and Alan Henning, who were killed by twisted Jihadi John on camera, before carrying out the attack in October last year.
She had then planned the murder alongside radical Iraq-born boyfriend Bakhtiar Mohammed Abdulla before calmly calling the police.
The court was told that in the emergency phone call she yelled: “I heard my mother scream and I looked out the window and saw a white man running away.
“Please come, there is blood everywhere.”
But when police further investigated the house, they found Tina calmly playing with her phone.
The court heard it was her “disinterested” manner that first made cops suspicious.
Borch, who had waited until her stepdad was away on business to carry out the attack, had begun her transformation from a normal teenager to killer after falling in love with another radical Muslim.
Refugee
But she was heartbroken when he left her to go back to his family in Sweden.
But prosecutors said she then met 29-year-old Abdulla at a refugee centre near her home in rural Kvissel and the pair plotted the gruesome killing.
Karina Skou, prosecuting, told the court that Borch had always fought with her mum, and her twin sister had even left home to escape their rows.
Ms Skou said: “This murder was cold blooded, ice cold and committed in a bestial manner.”
Killing
The pair had both denied the killing and instead blamed the death on each other.
But following a trial, Borch was convicted of murder and sentenced to nine years, the first of which will be spent in a young offenders institution.
Her boyfriend Abdulla, who was also found guilty, received 13 years, and when his sentence expires he will be expelled from Denmark.
