UNIONS PROMISE ‘A WAR’

-

A NATIONAL day of co-ordinated action is to be held against the Government’s controversial union reforms amid warnings of a “declaration of war”.

The TUC Congress backed a strong campaign to fight the Trade Union Bill, which will include industrial, civil and legal action, involving workers, civil rights campaigners and other groups.

Union leaders mounted angry attacks against the Bill, which MPs backed by 33 votes at its second reading in the Commons, with some pressing for “generalised strike action”.

Unite leader Len McCluskey (right) BREAST END: Babe

strips on stage told the conference in Brighton that his union will oppose the Bill using “any means necessary” to defend the democratic rights and freedoms of workers.

He said: “Instead of recognising our role, this Prime Minister seeks to paint the millions of trade unionists and their families as ‘the enemy within’.

“They seek to reduce trade unions to no more than employment advice agencies, while turning our members who dare to act into criminals.”

The Government says the changes would protect the public from disruptive action and had most people’s backing. TOPLESS Caroline Catz shows off her leading ladies – while stripping down on stage.

The stunning actress is known for playing school teacher Louisa Glasson in top ITV comedy Doc Martin, starring Martin Clunes.

And the 44-year-old also did a spot of probing as a police detective in family friendly thriller Ripper Street.

But before hitting the small screen the Manchester-born star laid bare her talents by stripping down for a bonk-filled West End production of Shopping and Fucking.

The saucy play follows Lulu who lives in a world where the public will do anything to grab a bargain – including a spot of shagging in the exclusive department store Harvey Nichols.

A source said: “Caroline is known for playing wholesome roles like teachers and police officers.

“But she clearly doesn’t mind getting her boobs out, too, if it means swelling audience numbers.

“And we can see that Doc Martin definitely has his hands full with her.”
